The Parent Teacher Association’s (PTA) role is to raise additional funds for the school through the organisation of fundraising and social events throughout the year.
Our PTA is an active group of parents and teachers who are committed to working together to creatively support the provision of the best facilities and equipment for our learning community.
WISH TO CONTRIBUTE?
We’re always looking for new members and would be delighted for you would join us as a member of the PTA.
Parents can elect to be involved in as many events over the year as they are able to support. This allows for parents to manage their commitment to the PTA as best suits their availability and their skill set and/or interest.
Meetings are held bi-termly and new members are always welcome. Meetings dates are advertised in school newsletters and are child-friendly for those with young children.
OUR ACTIVITIES
Some of the creative fundraising activities that the PTA have hosted in recent years have been: trivia nights, mother’s day and father’s day stalls, crazy hair and sock days, end of term special lunches, a colour fun run…and lots more!
The PTA is a fun, social and highly valuable way of becoming involved in the USPS community.
